Embree & Co. LLP has offices in Guelph and Cambridge with over 50 staff members. The firm assists and works with many clients to achieve their financial, business planning and compliance filing requirements. Between owner/manager and not-for-profit organizations, the firm provides audit, assurance, compilation, tax and business advisory services.

The predecessor accounting firm of Embree
& Co. LLP began in 1975 when Chartered Accountant Wayne G. Hillson
started his accounting practice. Growth in the practice resulted
in evolution of the firm Hillson & Co. LLP in 1990 with the
addition of new partners. Joining the firm as partner in 1991 was
Kevin Embree, in 1997 Dave Bell and in 2003 Arlene Campbell. Upon
Mr. Hillson's retirement in 2006, the firm became Embree
& Co. LLP.
The current accounting firm Embree & Co. LLP resulted from the merger in 2009 of the Cambridge firm Szczepski & Piccinin with Embree & Co. LLP. Joining the firm as partners in 2009 were George Szczepski, Mario Piccinin, Catherine Embree. Derek Stoltz became a partner in November 2010. In December 2012, George Szczepski retired from the partnership.
The new Cambridge location provides us expanded opportunities to service our clients as well as opportunities for growth.
